Itinerary

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Zagreb

10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – PILSNER STORY

A tour of the Daruvar Brewery, one of the most important symbols of Daruvar and its rich tradition. Upon arrival, we will treat you to homemade beer cakes, and after welcoming you, we will introduce you to the history of beer production in Daruvar, the technology and process of beer production. You will taste Staročeška beer from the fermenter in the brewery itself (light, red and/or bock). After the tasting, you will get a gift package (three Staročeška beers and a glass).

1:00 p.m. – LUNCH

After visiting the brewery, we will go for lunch to the restaurant “Terasa” (one of the 100 best restaurants in Croatia), where you will enjoy an original brewery lunch.

3:00 p.m. – We set off on a tour of Daruvar accompanied by a tour guide.

You will also visit the Count Janković Castle, with a joint photo shoot in front of the castle – next to the oldest Ginkgo tree in Croatia.

4:30 p.m. – LAGER STORY

After the walk, we will go to the brewery where master brewer Krešo Marić will introduce you to the 5th Element craft beer line, followed by a story about coupling five different styles of craft beer with five different types of Biogal cheese. Before leaving, you will be treated to chocolate cake made by the Daruvar bakery Imako, and you will be able to buy souvenirs and beer at affordable prices, so you can enjoy them when you return home.
