Itinerary

 

 7:00 am – Departure from Zagreb

 

10:00 am – Arrival to Stancija Špin

Our adventure begins with a visit to Stancija Špin, a sheep farm on the northwest coast of Istria.

You will taste Istrian cheese and skuta, the local dry curd cottage cheese served with extra virgin olive oils and walk along the Cheese Trail.

If you didn’t get to see all the beauty Istria has to show, here at Stancija Špin we will make you feel as if you actually did.

After this unique harmony of taste and smell, we will take you to the best Istrian craft breweries.

 

12:00 pm – Arrival to the craft brewery Bura Brew

Where experts and lovers of their work will tell you the story of how their craft dream became reality and of course taste their fantastic beers that will surely hit the spot after you treat your taste buds to delicious cheeses.

 

2:00 pm –  Lunch time, San Servolo brewery

You will visit the San Servolo family brewery in the small town of Buje in northwestern Istria.

Named after the patron of the town in which it is produced, San Servolo is an organic beer. It is quite interesting that the German law on beer cleanliness from 1516 is followed in the course of production, a special point of pride for the owners of the Bujska Pivovara brewery. You will experience a warm welcome and a unique experience through a magical journey at a local craft pub.

You will discover how master brewers mix these ingredients the traditional way, while the application of modern technologies creates a unique light and premium San Servolo red beer.

In the pleasant rustic ambience of the brewery, you will enjoy a  lunch on San Servolo way!

 

4:00 pm – Sightseeing of the medieval towns of Grožnjan and Motovun with expert guidance

Grožnjan, known as the city of artists, surrounded by green hills and magical white soil is a must-see destination for those who want to discover the treasure chest of Istria. It is also famous for frequent classical music concerts, a jazz-festival, painting manifestation and numerous exhibitions.

We will head for probably the most famous and most attractive Istrian medieval town Motovun-Monton. The view it offers is one of the best known symbols of the Istrian interior, located in the northern part of Istria, above the valley of the river Mirna.

 

7:00 pm – Dinner time, arrival to the Istrian tavern

You will enjoy Istrian domestic cuisine made with homemade ingredients from their estate.

 

9:00 pm – Departure for Zagreb; Expected arrival to Zagreb around midnight.
